Cool down exercises are just as important as warm-up exercises. They help gradually return blood pressure, heart rate, and blood flow to their normal levels. Stopping suddenly after physical activity can cause mild headaches and dizziness, as heart rate and blood flow decrease abruptly.
How to Perform Cool Down Exercises
Walk for five minutes, or until your heart rate drops below 120 beats per minute.
