If you exercise daily or weekly, it is important to provide your body with the necessary energy to perform the workout properly, allowing your muscles to benefit and preventing fatigue and exhaustion.


Here, we present the recommended food to eat before and after exercise, along with examples of suitable meals.


_ It is preferable to exercise three to four hours after a meal or one to two hours after a light snack. Exercising immediately after eating may cause fatigue.

_ The meal you eat before exercising should have the following characteristics:

_ Rich in carbohydrates from whole grains like oats or whole wheat bread, rather than simple sugars like cookies or sweetened juices.

_ Contains vegetables and fruits.

_ Contains a moderate amount of protein.

_ Low in fat and fiber as these can cause discomfort in the stomach during exercise.
